Independence, funding & disclosures
Readers should know who made a recommendation—and who paid.
Commercial relationships must be visible and separate from editorial judgment.
Version 1.0 · September 2026. This is our intended operating standard. Team assignments, credential checks, and medical reviews are still pending.
Editorial independence
Our policy prohibits brands from buying editorial scores, placements within rankings, verdicts, removals, or previews. Affiliate availability must never affect a score or rank.
How the site may earn money
Our intended model includes affiliate links added after independent recommendations, clearly labeled display advertising outside editorial verdicts, and reader-side services. Shopping links in the cleanser advertorial may earn a commission; its historical source ranking has not completed our independent scoring process.
Ownership
The publisher’s legal identity and funding details have not yet been supplied. These must be published before launch. The .org domain does not imply nonprofit status or professional accreditation.
Reviewer conflicts
Reviewers must disclose consulting, speaking, equity, and gifted-product relationships annually and per article. Any relationship with a mentioned brand requires recusal. Disclosures belong on reviewer profiles; undisclosed conflicts end the relationship.
